Costa Rica has been placed in the Top 10 dream honeymoon destinations by the Brides magazine. It was placed in a respectable 7th position with many travel experts pointing out that it is one of the most "up and coming" dream honeymoon destinations for 2011. With Hawaii, French Polynesia and Fiji listed as the Top 3 dream honeymoon destinations, it's evident that newly married couples are looking for the ultimate beach vacation destinations.
Orlando was the top honeymoon destination among those who decided to stay in North America, with Las Vegas being a close second. Hawaii was also a top honeymoon destination for those who booked via travel agents. Younger travelers were the most cautious in their choice of honeymoon destination, mainly choosing to stay in developed countries like the US, France, Spain and the UK.
